First carousel ride - she loved it!
Kady is 7 months old, if you can believe that!? I know I can't. She is becoming more fun every single day. She is such a great baby with a sweet and funny personality. She hardly cries or fusses, and when she does, it's for a good reason (like last night when I forgot to feed her dinner until 8:30 - terrible mom, I know). A few milestones:
First Mariner's game last night ... and they won! Kady did pretty good, but the sun was beating down on us, so she was a little grumpy and antsy. She played with cousins Emily and Archer, and my coworker's son, Ben.
She's sitting up strong and steady, which makes floor time a bit more fun (always good to have more than one option for floor time). She loves to sit on the floor and use her baby laptop, which makes noise pretty much anytime she touches it.
Rolling is out of control. As Peggy says, there is no blanket big enough to keep her on it! She will just keep rolling until she hits a wall, and then she'll roll back the other way. Next up ... crawling!
She tries to copy baby sign language signs sometimes. "The book says" (I hate saying that, but alas, I'm a bit of book mom I guess) she can catch on as early as 8 months and start using signs to communicate. We'll see ... no pressure.
We tried applesauce tonight, the first attempt at fruit, and it didn't go over too well, she gave us the sour face. She may be a veggie baby, who knows!?
