I can't believe she is four weeks old already. Time really does fly by with a baby. Here's some updates on her for the past week:
Her daddy came home and said she looked much bigger. She seems to remember him and they are back to bonding just like before he left. :)
Her personality is starting to formulate and she spends several hours awake each day, so the days are becoming more and more fun!
She's up to almost 8 and a half pounds now, so we know we have a healthy baby ... finally! She still doesn't quite fit into her 0-3 month clothes though, so we're wearing the same newborn outfits over and over each week (a major fashion mishap, but she won't remember ;)).

Kady's Korner: Third Week of Life
Kady has made some big changes this week. Her dad's still hunting and is going to be amazed at how much she's changed when he returns home next week!
She makes lots of new faces, including her "scrunchy" face, frowns, smiles, worried looks and more - all this can happen in just a few minutes! Many of these faces are accompanied by grunting noises, which are pretty cute.
With mom's discovery of the pacifier, she is sleeping through the night, with the exception of her usual feedings every three hours. It has made life much easier for mom, and I know dad will be thrilled when he gets home. Before he left she would cry throughout the night.
She had a bath in her bathtub for the first time with significant help from Grandma Moore.
Aunt Jackie, cousins Emily and Archer and Grandma LaRue visited this week to show off Aunt Jackie's cool new tattoo. Aunt Jackie sure likes to hold her and Emily thought she had such cute feet. :)
Grandma and Gramps Moore and Auntie Em and Uncle Tyler visited this week and we had tacos for Tyler's 19th birthday. She was so excited to see everyone she stayed awake for at least an hour.
We had photos this week by Amber and Kady stayed awake for two and half hours, when all Amber wanted her to do was fall asleep so she could take some artsy photos! Nevertheless, Amber got some great shots and we can't wait to see the proofs! At one point, we had her without a diaper and she pooped all down the front of mom - that was fun. :-/ Here's a sneak peak: http://www.ambershereephotography.blogspot.com/
She's doing much better with breastfeeding, although she still gets about half her nourishment from breastmilk in the bottle.

LaRue's enter the blogging world!
Well, it took having a baby for us to enter the big world of blogging ... but what better way to show off our new addition than to post photos and updates on her while she's changing daily. :)
