Kady's Korner: 5 Months Old

She loves reading during bath time :)
Holding herself up pretty well these days. We were practicing crawling here!

Such a happy baby!

Super cool in her shades from Rachie. :)

She LOVES playing with her toes! She grabs them every time she's on her back. She even started eating them at Grandma and Gramps house last week.

Wow! I can't believe she'll be 6 months old next month. She is such a sweetheart. Her personality is really coming through and we love spending every minute with her. Here are a few highlights:

Home with Dad. Work is slow, so Clark and Kady are getting a lot of bonding time. They are in a good routine and Dad is not looking forward to going back to work (although Mom and Kady will like the paycheck!). We're not sure how long he'll be off, so he's just enjoying the time he has. Kady still visits Auntie Peg, Grandma Rogers and her friend Kyla once a week. She enjoys the change of scenery and different toys. :)

Baby sign language practice. We're practicing "more" and "eat" right now so once she gets the coordination with her hands she will hopefully be able to sign these words at the appropriate time so Mom and Dad don't have to guess when she gets fussy. Once she gets the hang of these, we'll work on "bed," "thank you" and "please." Can't wait!

All smiles, all the time! She smiles at everyone who smiles at her - quite the social butterfly. She also smiles the minute Mom or Dad walk in the door after being gone all day, which is the best feeling in the world.

(Warning: do not watch if you get motion sickness ... I was tickling while videotaping :)

I LOVE to listen to her laugh in this one. I can't wait to watch this in 10 years and hear that sweet little laugh like it's the first time again.
